In this two day seminar UK psychiatrist and Jungian Analyst Jean Knox will draw together elements of contemporary Jungian and Relational Analytic models of therapy to offer important insights into understanding and working with people who have been traumatised and/or have a disorder of the self. She will also draw extensively on current neuroscientific insights into developmental processes and trauma to offer a model of psychotherapy that specifically addresses the needs of these clients.

The seminar will comprise a series of presentations interspersed with large and small group discussions where attendees will have opportunities to explore how they might apply this information and related insights in their own clinical work.

Jean’s presentations will draw on attachment theory, relational therapy/analysis and developmental and neuroscience research to offer a contemporary Jungian approach to understanding and working clinically with disorders of the self, illustrated with clinical vignettes from her own practice
