Indemnity Insurance

Dear Members

You will shortly receive a letter from Rothbury Wilkinson, our Indemnity
Insurance broker, advising you of a change to the section that relates to
the provision of counselling should you be the subject of the complaint.
The policy formerly stated that counselling services will be provided by
EAP Services. As a result of feedback from members this has been changed
to allow the member to choose the counsellor or psychotherapist they would
approach for support.

The reason for the change was to provide choice. Having one provider did
not take in to account the experience range of the staff of the EAP
provider and any relationships that might already exist.

We are pleased that Rothbury Wilkinson has accepted our concerns and
agreed to allow member to choose the most appropriate person for them in
the event of a complaint.
