The NZ Child Cancer Foundation has been working with the National Child Cancer Network and Massey University to develop a new initiative to provide more counselling support for the family/whānau/caregivers of children with a cancer diagnosis in NZ, who are managing the psychosocial impact of a child cancer diagnosis.
We are now inviting clinicians who currently work with young people and their family/whānau to express their interest in joining the Child Cancer Counselling Network.
You need to be:
- a registered clinical holding an annual practising certificate;
- experienced in working with young people and whānau;
- and interested i working with distress resulting from a cancer experience.
