About the EMDR Training:
EMDR therapy is best known for treating PTSD. It can also be applied for a range of health and mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety, with clients across the lifespan.
EMDR therapy is endorsed by the World Health Organisation (WHO), The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) and a host of other organisations internationally.
During the 2-Part EMDR therapy Basic training, participants learn and experience this unique and powerful therapy that helps people heal from issues triggered by traumatic life events.
Training in EMDR therapy is an experiential process. Lectures, demonstrations, video-taped segments of EMDR Therapy sessions and participants’ own supervised practice – as both therapists and clients – are designed to give you a comprehensive and first-hand understanding of the therapy. During the course of the Part 1 and Part 2 Basic training courses participants learn a broad range of EMDR therapy applications to enable them to begin to use EMDR Therapy immediately after the training with different clients and difficulties.
