Call for Papers, Workshops

We welcome different forms of submissions:

• Papers (for a 75 minute session) – this could be one paper, or two people presenting two, shorter linked papers.

• Workshops (for a 75 or a 90 minute session).

• Short talks – This year we are encouraging people to submit proposals for short talks or presentations, along the lines developed by TED (Technology, Education, Design) (see, that is talks or presentations of (up to) 18 minutes. You may submit one, or as part of a number of presentations (there will be a maximum of 3 in one 75 minute session or 4 in a 90 minute session).

• Posters.

All abstracts must be submitted by Friday November 30, 2012. All submissions will be anonymised and peer-reviewed, following which the Scientific Committee will contact you regarding your submission.

Farhad Dalal, PhD, Group Analyst, UK.
Author of Taking the Group Seriously (Jessic Kingsley, 1998), Race, Colour and the Process of Racialization (Routledge, 2002), and Thought Paralysis (Karnac, 2012).

There will be a special issue of Ata: Journal of Psychotherapy Aotearoa New Zealand devoted to the theme of the conference. Following the conference, we encourage all colleagues whose papers or talks are accepted for the conference, to submit these for consideration to the journal. Further details will follow.
