“Working with Couples – the foundations of couple therapy” is a two-day workshop focused solely on the pragmatics of how to work with relationship issues with two people in the room.  The workshop will help you apply your existing skills in a couple therapy context. It does not teach a specific therapy model but looks at common issues that arise when you have both people in a relationship in front of you.  Although aimed at people with little couple therapy background, many seasoned couple therapists have attended and got a lot from this training.  It is rooted in the experience of two psychologists who have specialised in relationship work for over 60 years (collectively).

Trainer

Nic Beets is a Clinical Psychologist who has specialised in relationship and sex therapy for over 25 years.  He has had training in four different models of couple therapy (EFT, Imago, Crucible and Developmental Models) and is a director of Relationship Therapy Inc – the only endorsed trainers for the Developmental Model in Australasia.
