NZAP Conference 2013 – Te Rōpū Whakaora Hinengaro Hui

Te Rōpū Whakaora Hinengaro Hui
The New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists Conference 2013

Tamaki Makaurau – Auckland 18 – 21 April, 2013

Introduction

Tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou katoa.
We, the 2013 NZAP Conference Organising Committee, are in the process of developing a conference that we anticipate will be stimulating and engaging. We are a team of nine core members who are inspired and committed to bring you a memorable and enriching experience.

Theme

An NZAP conference is both a conference, and an opportunity to come together as an association, with all our similarities and differences. With this in mind the theme “Figure and Ground”, “Ko Rangitoto te Maunga, Ko Waitemata te Moana” has been chosen which invites us to consider what is significant in the foreground, and in the back ground in our clinical practice, our therapeutic communities and in our social contexts. We are inviting papers, presentations, and workshops on this theme from participants of all contexts and theoretical modalities. (See below).
